Planning: Ellie and Alex's I Do BBQ! We are under 100 days until their big day and we are excited to celebrate with them. Also I have a little one turning 6 in less than a month! I am feeling really behind on this one - I haven't even done his invites yet - YIKES!

Cooking:  This week I have cooked....ready for it - tater tots. It has been a crazy week and I was traveling Monday and Tuesday with my mom for Dr. appointments, then a work event on Wednesday for me - so tater tots and grilled cheese for the kids and Jesse, and last night we did our usual Chick-fli-a and core group. I will share that I picked up Trader Joe’s Chicken Gyoza Potstickers - I popped those in the microwave for lunch today and was very happy. My mom makes them from scratch and Trader Joe's were a great alternative.

Wearing: Tank tops - Here in sunny Florida we have reached the high 80's - there's a rumor we will reach 90 today. I picked up this top at Target last week and I am in love. It's light weight and just the right amount of flow. It looks great with white and dark jeans!

Loving: The sweet memories we made this past Easter weekend. after church and the church ege hunt for the kiddos, Jesse and I hosted parts of our family and some sweet students that we consider family. We had a yummy meal in the back yard and an egg hunt that involved stealing and tickling. We piled on the couch to watch Into The Woods and took tears napping. It was a great day to celebrate our Lord.

Currently

Planning: Our family vacation to Disney! Yes, we live 30 minutes and head there at least 2 times month but this is our time to leave campus and just relax. The kids are excited and I may or may not have a 3 page packing plan. We are staying on property at the Camp Wilderness Cabins.
The plan is to eat in the cabin more so we can enjoy bigger meals in the parks. Aiden is very excited about sleeping in bunk beds!

Cooking: We have been really good at meal planning lately which make my heart and bank account happy! I am so grateful for Pinterest and all the wonderful meals I find on there. Yesterday I put this honey garlic chicken in the crock-pot and it was so good. We had with couscous instead of rice and my kiddos favorite green beans! I also made this cold-brew coffee last night. It's still in the 90's here in sunny Florida so cold-brew is needed. 

Wearing: I've been spending time really looking at all of the clothes that I try to squeeze into our small apartment closet and clear out the pieces that I really don't wear. I've also been using Pinterest to find different ways to wear the pieces that I love. I always forget to take a picture of myself during the day when I look put together and by the time I remember to take a picture it's right after we've put the kids to bed and I am looking a little rough but those are the real moments! So here I am rocking classic white and black in my messy room, with dirty mirrors, and an unmade bed!

Loving: My hair is crazy - I mean Scary Spice crazy! I have successfully burned it into submission over the last 10 years and I have an amazing hair dresser. He can get my hair to do things that just amaze me and I could never get my hair as straight with my straighter as he could....and then I found out my straighter is old and not the right type for my hair. Thanks Google! So after much begging Jesse bought me a new straighter! I got it at Ulta and this is the one I got. I reviews were so so but I have used it a few times now and I am in love. I even taught myself how to curl my hair with it too. I am in love I think I might get rid of all my other hair tools!

Loving: All the love that Felicity gets at work. There is a constantly flow of student who come in to see her and it really makes me happy. The crazy funny things my 3 year comes up with or says. Like reading to Felicity in Spanish (in case you didn't know - he doesn't know Spanish!!)

Reading: In an Instant: A Family's Journey of Love and Healing by Lee and Bob Woodruff - it's teaching me that it can all change so fast and you never know what is on the other side.

Watching:  Downton Abbey is back...thank you PBS. Oh how I love that show. It's also nice to be all caught up on Grey's Anatomy, with a little HGTV mixed it. 

Listening to: Kelly Clarkson - just been in a Kelly mood. Also the new song from Audio Adrenaline makes me so happy (I am so glad they were able to team up with Kevin Max from DC Talk!!) What the video here.

Thinking about: All the things I want to do in our new house. Pinterest sucks me in every time and I get lost just decorating rooms I don't even have yet! Follow along here.

Looking forward to: Finding a house! We have put in an offer but someone else beat us to it. So we are back on the search! Also on Saturday while everyone expect Felicity and I are at Monster Jam we will be enjoying Breakfast with Shamu! (with some great friends and my mom)

Making me happy: We took the kids to Sea World on Monday and it was a great trip. I am glad we are closer now, we just spent a few hours there and met up with some friends. Felicity is constantly saying mama and calling for me! My new Keurig I got for Christmas! It is awesome.

Cheering on the Tide!

Loving: Being closer to work. Cutting my drive time from an hour to 35-40 minutes has allowed me to accomplish so much. I am happier when I get home and not exhausted from driving.

Reading: The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf I love how you get the story from each characters perspective.

Watching:  Since we now live with Jesse’s Dad and his fiancé we have been watching a lot move NASCAR and football then normal but it’s pretty exciting. Aiden loves the racecar show – he thinks the replays of the wrecks are new wrecks and it’s so cute to see him get into. Grey’s of coarse with a little Big Bang Theory and HGTV sprinkled in.

Listening to: The new Matchbox Twenty cd, North and my Pandora station is constantly on Lady Antebellum radio.

Thinking about: What I can bless my children with  - What does God want me to teach them? Patience, kindness, gentleness, to love each other. The sermon on Sunday morning got me thinking about this. We can teach them so many things good and bad. I want to make sure that I focus on teaching them the good things – what are my actions, behavior, and words saying to them?

Looking forward to: A haircut!  Very excited to get my hair cut on Wednesday. It’s so long and out of control right now. I would show a picture of the cut I am hoping for but you will just have to wait and see J

Making me happy: My kiddos. We just got Aiden’s first school pictures back and they are so stinking cute.  I just love the little man that he has turned into (most of the time). Felicity is changing daily and her little personality is starting to come out. I love her sweet smiles and happy giggles.
